Biography
Born in Angers (49) on 8 December 1982.
As a child and teenager, I always loved painting and drawing. But it was when I enrolled in the Fine Arts programme at the University of Rennes 2 in 2000 that I discovered and began to learn more rigorous artistic practices. I left university in 2005 and co-founded the Vivarium studio in Rennes in 2006 with three fellow artists. I then alternated between artistic practice (painting and drawing) and temporary work (to earn a living). In 2012, I experimented with my first mural painting on the façade of the studio, covering an area of 150m2. It was a very enriching and satisfying experience to tackle a wall for the first time, and what's more, a façade of such a large surface area.
Encouraged by the experience of this first fresco, I then completed two commissions, one for the city of Rennes in 2015 and another for the SNCF in 2017 with young people in integration programmes. Then I was asked to create a painting in Dédale (Vannes) in May 2019, which was another very rewarding experience, both personally and artistically. These were very positive and enriching experiences that I hope to repeat as often as possible. I also create murals for private individuals, both indoors and outdoors.
